(followed by Psalm 51:17)--reminders that simplicity is God's way:

 

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
      And what does the LORD require of you
          But to do justly,
              To love mercy,
      And to walk humbly with your God?

 

My sacrifice, O God, is a humble spirit;
       a broken and contrite heart,
            O God, you will not despise.
