Who Has Known The Mind Of The Lord?

Hey, Y'all,

Another semi-random spiritual thought today; I actually got to thinking about this at Fallen Leaf Lake--you'll recall there was no TV and minimal e-mail and no cell phone service and LOTS of time to think quietly...so I got to thinking...

"Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?"
Romans 11:34

As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother's womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things."
Ecclesiastes 11:5

Here's the larger context of Paul's doxology (where he quotes Isaiah 40:13 Job 41:11)...

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
"Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?"
"Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay him?"
For from him and through him and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Romans 11:33-36

God is God, and (despite my occasional delusions to the contrary) I'm not (yep, needed to hear that today, but again, I'm sure it's just me and it's just today, right?!? ).

You've been prayed for today...
